3RD ALARM HAULING · MANATEE COUNTY

Trailer Rental in Cortez, FL

Cortez is the working fishing village on Manatee County's west coast — one of the last historic Florida fishing communities, with a mix of older homes, Cracker-era cottages, waterfront commercial properties, and a working fish-house corridor along Cortez Road. Trailer rentals here have their own pattern: smaller projects, older buildings, and a steady share of dock and seawall work that doesn't show up elsewhere. Our 7×12 hydraulic dump trailer is sized to fit the village's tight lots and the load profile of an older Cortez waterfront home.

How Cortez uses our trailer

Older waterfront home renovations are the largest single use case. The Cortez residential blocks have homes that are eighty or a hundred years old, and the renovation cycle on those properties — plaster repair, original wood-flooring replacement, lath demo, and the slow gut of a Cracker cottage into a workable modern interior — produces the kind of mixed-debris loads our trailer handles well. The daily rate covers a paced weekend's work, and the weekly is the right pick for longer-running interior projects.

Dock and seawall work generates a separate stream of rentals out of 34215. Cortez properties along the bay and the Bradenton Beach side often have aging wood docks, composite decking due for replacement, and the kind of seawall maintenance that produces a load of broken material a few times a year. The trailer is sized for those one-property jobs without being so large that staging it on a Cortez lot becomes its own logistical problem.

Yard waste from mature trees is the third constant. The village has a heavy canopy of old oaks and mature palms, and storm season adds limbs, fronds, and downed sections that have to leave the property. Curbside service in unincorporated Cortez is not built for that kind of volume, so a single daily trailer rental with a couple of transfer-station runs is usually the right answer for a one-day cleanup at a single residence.

Cortez Road is a straight shot west from our Terra Ceia yard through Bradenton, and the pickup logistics are predictable. Pickup-only keeps the daily rate where it is — we don't run delivery, by design — but for Cortez renters the route is direct and the drive economics work out cleanly. Reservations come in by phone or text the same way they do for any other city in the county.
